Moving Beans COVID-19 Updates

Like everyone else, we're trying our best to carry on business as usual through all of this chaos with Covid-19 right now.

Firstly, we hope you're all staying safe and keeping yourselves healthy and indoors.

If you have any questions or concerns while shopping with us, below is a list of updates from our company regarding how we're operating right now.

Shipping and handling: We're taking and sending out orders. Although there are some rare delays of up to 14 days with some of our couriers, the majority of deliveries ought to be within a few working days.

Royal Mail, the main courier we use, are still confirming up to 14-day delays in some areas of the UK and significant delays on international shipments. You can see the various updates direct from Royal Mail here:

https://www.royalmail.com/coronavirus

Most orders get dispatched within 2 working days.

Even with shipping delays, 90% of products arrive within 3 days of the estimated delivery date.

Our standard shipping service still uses Royal Mail 48 Tracked. Royal Mail are providing zero-contact delivery wherever possible.

We're maintaining our high cleanliness and food safety standards, as usual. Gloves and face masks are worn by any staff that come into contact with products.

Order processing: Orders are being processed as normal, but due to supply issues some orders will be sent in two parcels.

Stock shortages: Many people have wisely chosen to shop online to avoid the chaos at supermarkets and unnecessary contact with others. As a result, our products have been selling out much more quickly.

Under any other circumstances this would be fine, but there may be some products that are out of stock as we are experiencing delays with some of our own suppliers. If a product is out of stock, it is clearly marked on the website.

Capsules and packaging: We've also been experiencing some delays with the suppliers of some of our materials. As a result, some packs will contain capsules that are of a different colour to the box (for example, you may receive a pack of Colombian Single Origin with it's yellow box, but the capsules might be blue!) This is nothing to worry about and the coffees are not mixed up even if the capsule is of the wrong colour. This, however, occurs very rarely and we should be back on colour "track" by mid summer.

This the best option we had to keep our business running and keep our customers stocked up with their coffee pods!

More information: We hope this clears up any confusion, but if you have any questions, our team is always happy to help. If you have any questions please get in touch via email or reach out on Facebook Messenger and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
